Singer Chinmayi has bagged a telugu Nandi Awards 2010 in Best Dubbing Artiste category for the telugu verison of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya 'Ye Maya Chesave' movie.
Singer/ actor Chinmayi is riding high as she has won a Nandi award and she shared her past with rehman and writes in her personal blog as This journey, too started from Rahman sir's studio when the studio engineer Karthik called me to test for Sillunu Oru Kadhal. I, in my opinion, had a very un-girly, un-sing-song voice”.
“I have just normal voice but somehow director Krishna liked it and decided to have my voice for Bhoomika. In about five years I have done dubbing for 22 films and I have never planned something like this. VTV and YMC are definitely the best films in my dubbing career. I learned a lot from Gautham sir, especially subtlety in dubbing".Singer Chinmayi added further.
