South Film stars Actress Meera Jasmine and Actor Prithviraj were indulged in a cheating case and court summons them legal notices to present at the court in or before 16th May.While we go in to the story Producer K Mohandas of Karimbil Films banner signed in Meera Jasmine and Prithviraj for his film titled Swapnamalika in Malayalam four years back.Producer paid Rs.5 laksh each as an advance,which was accepted by both the stars.Later onn both of them were not attending for the regular shooting of the film although they were paid in advance.By this they violated the contract rules by not attending to the shooting sets.The producer was depressed and finally approached the court.
In regard to this Prithviraj and Meera Jasmine were alerted with many legal notices but their was no sign of response. The case was filed under Sec 420 for cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property as per IPC.
