Ilayathalapathy Vijay was signed in for Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan film which was shelved off due to producers could not meet high budget requirements of the film.As of Ponniyin Selvan movie stopped Vijay has shifted his call sheets to Ameer's upcoming movie titled Kannabiran.Vijay to go on the sets of Ameers's Kannabiran once he finishes his current projects Nanban,Velayudham shooting.Meanwhile Director Ameer to wrap up his film of Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra in lead roles Aadhi Bhagwan.Ameer to start working of Kannabiran script soon .It is heard that Kannabiran to show case Vijay in a out and out mass entertainer.
