Rajinikanth, Mammotty starring 1991's multi-starrer blockbuster film Thalapathy is all set to remake in Hindi soon.
One of the bollywood producer Bharath Shah has grabbed the remake rights of Thalapathy in Hindi.Earlier the produced the remake film of Mani Ratnam, Madhavan’s Alaipuyuthey in bollywood as Saathiya with Vivek Oberoi, Rani Mukherjee in the lead.Thalapathy is inspired from the epic Mahabharata and is based in the Karna and Dhuryodhana to an extent.
Santhosh Sivan debuted as cinematographer with Thalapathy and Ilayaraja’s tunes and BGM tunred out as biggest hits of those times.Thalapathy hindi version will be directed by Puja Jatinder Singh and the regular shooting of the film will commence from early of 2012.
