Gautam Menon's forthcoming productional venture Thangameengal in the direction of Ram has roped in actress Padma Priya for a lead role in the film.Padma Priya says “Ram initially approached me with the script for playing the female lead, as I was busy with my earlier projects couldn’t commit. Now he again asked me to play another key role in the film and I gave it a nod.”
Currently Padma Priya is busy with Aparajitha Tumi in Bengali and Malayalam movies.Padma Priya is debuting in Bengali with Aparajitha Tumi film.
Director Ram is debuting as the hero with Thangameengal and the movie deals with the experiences of an middle aged man.Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing tunes for this movie.
