Masala Padam
As the big films are in the process of releasing the biggest immediate concern and challenge the film industry encounter is the 'Review' part by reviewers existing in the social media.There are difference of opinions on this issue between the two sections , one section advocating the liberty of expressions and the other one opposing the views by the social media as a breach into the business interests of the producers.
Produced by All in pictures and directed by Laxman Kumar, cameraman of many successful films including 'Vennila kabadi kuzhu' and 'Santhosh Subramaniam'. 'Masala padam ' is a film focused on this topic and is widely expected to infuse great interest as this is the most discussed topic as of now. Starring Bobby Simha and 'Mirchi' Siva in the lead 'Masala padam ' is expected to cater to all section of the audience. ' For the last three years or so we have been witnessing a wave of criticism both constructive and destructive. There is no line drawn here as code of conduct and the fall out of this development is the fulcrum of the script. As a cameraman i had done plenty of films and when i decided to mark my presence as a Director i decided to venture into an area which was never discussed earlier. My Friend and Producer Vijay Raghavendhra of All in pictures offered me the space and provision to touch this script which i am sure will connect to any body and every body.Bobby Simha and Mirchi Siva have given their best to date in this film i would say.Lakshmi had played the female lead. The music is by Karthik Aacharya. Films with such content needs wide spread coverage in terms of release and we are glad 'Auraa Cinemas' Mahesh had come forward to release this film world wide on 2nd of October. The post production work is on and we will initiate the promotional campaign very soon ' concluded Laxman Kumar .

சமீபமாக திரை உலகம் சந்தித்து வரும் மிக பெரிய சவால் சமூக வலை தள விமர்சகர்களிடம் இருந்து தான் என்பது பொதுவானக் கருத்து. படத்தை பற்றிய விமரிசனம் செய்வது காசு கொடுத்து படம் பார்பவனின் உரிமை என்று ஒரு சாராரும் , சினிமா என்பது ஒரு வியாபாரம்,அடுத்தவர் வியாபாரத்தை விமரிசித்து வீழ்த்த இவர்கள் யார் என்று ஒரு சாராரும் வாத பிரதிவாதங்களை வைத்து தர்க்கம் செய்து வருகிறார்கள். ஆல் இன் Pictures என்னும் புதிய பட நிறுவனம் தயாரிப்பில, 'வெண்ணிலா கபடி குழு'
'சந்தோஷ் சுப்ரமணியம்' ஆகிய படங்களின் ஒளிபதிவாளரான ,பிரபல ஒளிபதிவாளர் லக்ஷ்மன் குமார் இயக்குனராக அறிமுகமாகும் ' மசாலா படம்' இந்தக் கருத்தை மையமாக வைத்து தான் படமாக்க படுகிறது.
' என்னுடைய முதல் படம் சராசரியான ஒரு கதையாக இருக்கக் கூடாது என்பதில் தீர்மானமாக இருந்தேன்.அதற்க்கு ஏற்றக் கதையை பற்றி யோசிக்கும் பொது எனக்கு தோன்றியது தான் இந்தக் கதை. எல்லோரும் விமரிசகர்கள் தான் என்ற நிலையில் தான் இன்றைய சினிமா உள்ளது. யார் செய்வது சரி , விமர்சனம் என்பது உரிமையா அல்ல அடுத்தவர் வியாபாரத்தை கெடுக்கும் முயற்சியா , விமர்சனத்துக்கு எல்லை கோடு உண்டா , என்ற பல கேள்விகளுக்கு 'மசாலா படம் ' தான் சிறந்த பதில். கதையைப் பற்றி விவாதித்த உடனே படத்தை தயாரிக்க முன்வந்த எனது நண்பரும் தயாரிப்பாளருமான விஜய் ராகவேந்தராவுக்கு என் முதற் கண் நன்றி. நாயகர்கள் பாபி சிம்மாவுக்கும் , மிர்ச்சி சிவாவுக்கும் இந்தப் படம் அவர்களது பயணத்தில் முக்கிய படமாகும்.கதாநாயகியாக லக்ஷ்மி நடித்து உள்ளார்.இசை அமைப்பு கார்த்திக் ஆச்சாரியா.இதைப் போன்ற படங்களுக்கு பெரிய ஊக்கமே படத்தை முறையாக பெரிய அளவில் விளம்பரம் செய்து வெளியிடும் விநியோகஸ்தர் தான் . அந்த முறையில் சமீபத்தில் வெளி வந்து பெரும் வெற்றிப் பெற்ற ஆங்கில படங்களான 'டெர்மினடர்' ' Mission impossible ' ஆகிய படங்களை தென்னகமெங்கும் விநியோகம் செய்த Auraa சினிமாஸ் மகேஷ் , எங்களது 'மசாலா படம்' அக்டோபர் 2ஆம் தேதி வெளி வர சீரிய முயற்சிகளை மேற் கொண்டு உள்ளார். 'மசாலா படம்' ரசிகர்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல விமர்சகர்களுக்கும் நிச்சயம் பிடிக்கும் ' என நம்பிக்கையுடன் தெரிவித்தார் லக்ஷ்மன் குமார்.
