Prashanth's forthcoming movie Ponnar Shankar has recently completed censor formalities and acquired U/A certificate. Prashanth took Ponnar Shankar as a much important film so he took much care in every aspect of the film making. There was also news that recently Prashanth did not celebrate his birthday as he was working out for the release date ofPonnar Shankar.
Ponnar Shankar story was scripted by Tamil nadu Cheif Minister Karunanidhi.onnar Shankar movie based on twin brothers Ponnar and Shankar who belongs to Kongu Nadu region. Actor Prashanth acted in dual roles while Pooja Chopra and Divya Parameswaran played opposite to Prasanth in dual roles. Ilayaraja has rendered tunes for Poonar Shankar movie.Thyagarajan Prashanth’s father is also one of the producer to Ponnar Shankar.
In a recent Press Meet Prashanth stated about Poonar Shankar as “It’s going to be a double bonanza for me as I am going to celebrate my birthday on the day the film releases”. Poonar Shankar finally to hit the big screens on April 15th.
