Shruti Hassan has given her nod for singing the item song in Osthi.Music Director Thaman is said to use Mirapakay telugu movie tune for this song.The recording of Osthi item song is said to begin soon.

The filmmakers of Osthi roped in Mallika Sherawat for a whoomping amount of 1.25 crore for the item song.
